Add a bit of relaxation to your summer with the return of a teen summer reading favorite. Make your own mixes of bath salts, sugar scrubs, & fizzy bath bombs! But that’s not all because we’re going to add in a smoothie challenge. We’ll roll our special smoothie dice to find out what items we’re putting in the blender. It might be gross or it might be tasty. Grades 7-12
Do you enjoy writing? We’ll play games, tell stories, and there will be quiet time to write whatever you’d like. If you need or want input from other teens about a story you can do that here too but don’t worry, sharing is not required. The ultimate whodunit! It’s a party all about the beloved board game but instead of sitting down to play, YOU get to be the pieces as we wander around the room. Grades 6-12. Read whatever you like and hear about books other teens have been reading. A special bonus: Hear about our newest books first! Those who come get first pick at all the new teen books!
Create a unique bag that’s all your own. Do you want it to look like a game of Bejeweled? Or maybe use felt and velcro to turn your bag into an interactive Tic-tac-toe game? Use the provided supplies to decorate your tote with any design you’d like! Grades 7-12

It’s time to give some old t-shirts a new life. With just t-shirts and a hula hoop you can create a fun rug for your room. Pick out your shirts from the provided selection (or you can bring your own if you have certain colors you’d like to use), cut them into strips, and weaved them on your hula hoop frame. Grades 7-12
End the summer reading program with great food & prizes! Use those library dollars to bid on the prizes you want. The auction starts at 2:15 pm so get there early to get your dollars and look over the prizes before it starts! Grades 7-12
