Book T.A.L.K. – Fri. April 11, 10:00 a.m.

T.A.L.K. (Talk About Literature in Kansas) – Sponsored by the Kansas Humanities Council. A program for every Kansan who loves to read and discuss good books.

Our Book TALK series this spring is Faith in Fiction, World Faiths.  Our last book in the series is the Jewish novel The Romance Reader by Pearl Abraham. This is a tender story of a young Hasidic woman facing the challenges of growing up and the demands of her religion. Our discussion leader will be Dr. Susan Carlson, Professor of English at Pittsburg State University. Copies of the book are available at the library.

A Note from Laura –  There are many ways to be part of Book TALK.  Read the book first. Read the book later. Just come for the discussion. Whatever works for you. Our discussions are always fascinating.  Please join us.
