Electronics and Batteries Recycling – Sat. April 18, 1:00-4:00 p.m.

Our electronics recycling event in April was again a great success. This year we collected over 5,000 pounds of unwanted electronics and batteries. Since we started our annual electronics recycling event in 2012, we have collected over 26,000 pounds of unwanted electronics and batteries that did not end up in a landfill.  Thank you!

Earth Day is coming soon, so mark your calendar and start gathering your unwanted electronics for safe, environmentally responsible recycling. Secure e-cycle will be in the library parking lot Saturday, April 18th, 1:00-4:00 p.m.  All items are free except $20 fee for any size television and $15 fee for any size CRT monitors.

For a list of what can be recycled, follow this link: Items We Accept.

Secure e-Cycle has a zero landfill policy, so clean out your closet or basement and know you are doing the responsible thing.

(All computer hard drives will be wiped using Department of Defense approved software or permanently destroyed by “The Crusher” which shatters the platters and eliminates any data.)
