At Basehor Community Library, we offer several options for reading and listening to books on digital devices. Choose your favorite, or use them all!

The Sunflower eLibrary is a consortium of Kansas libraries that have joined together to bring you a collection of ebooks and audiobooks using a platform built by Overdrive. The easiest and best way to access this collection is by using the free Libby, by Overdrive app. Libby by Overdrive is available for Android, iOS, Windows 10, some Chromebooks, and in your browser at libbyapp.com.

hoopla is a FREE digital media service that you can use to borrow a great selection of ebooks, audiobooks, movies, television shows, documentaries, full music albums, and comic books using your smartphones, tablets, and your computer. It’s easy to sign up, and to use. Best of all: there’s no waiting and no holds!

KS State Library Digital Books

The State Library of Kansas provides several options for digital audiobooks and ebooks through its Digital Books eLending service. A Kansas Library eCard is necessary for most of the services.

We can sign you up for your Kansas Library eCard anytime.

 

 

TumbleBooks’ databases are easy to use, and feature unlimited access from home! You can read as many books as you want, when you want, and on any device. There are no check-outs, holds, or bulky downloads. Books are available instantly. Just login using the buttons for each database below.

The TumbleBook Library collections include licensed titles from children’s book publishers such as Simon & Schuster, Chronicle Books, Candlewick Press, Charlesbridge Press, Walker & Company, Annick Press, Orca Books, Lerner Books, and HarperCollins Publishers, amongst others.
